Ridgetop Animal Hospital is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our Silverdale team. The role offers diverse exposure across preventive care, surgery, dentistry, anesthesia, and urgent care, with emphasis on patient advocacy and Fear Free handling.
You will work closely with veterinarians and support staff to deliver high-quality care, mentor assistants, and maintain excellent patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
Ready to actually use your technician skills?
Ridgetop Animal Hospital is looking for a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our growing team in Silverdale, Washington.
We're a busy, progressive small-animal hospital combining high-quality general practice with same-day urgent care, advanced surgery, dentistry, and a diverse medical caseload. We take pride in practicing excellent medicine while giving our LVTs the opportunity to use the skills they've worked hard to develop.
If you enjoy variety, want to stay challenged, and are looking for a hospital where technicians play an important role in patient care, we'd love to meet you.
Our LVTs see much more than routine wellness appointments. You'll have the opportunity to work across preventative care, complex medical cases, urgent care, dentistry, anesthesia, hospitalized patient care, and advanced surgery.
Our surgical caseload includes procedures such as TPLO, lateral sutures, MPL and fracture repair, TECA, cystotomy, splenectomy, GI surgery, PU, FHO/DFO, amputations, and more.
Our hospital is equipped with digital radiography, in-house IDEXX diagnostics, dental radiography, advanced anesthesia monitoring, and therapeutic laser technology.
Most importantly, we want our LVTs to practice as LVTs. We value strong technical skills, clinical judgment, patient advocacy, and technicians who take ownership of patient care while working closely with our veterinarians and support team.
How we care for our patients matters just as much as the medicine we provide. Our team emphasizes Fear Free principles, thoughtful handling, and patient advocacy. We want team members who recognize when a patient needs a different approach and are comfortable speaking up for their physical and emotional well-being.
Current Washington State Veterinary Technician License required.
We're looking for an LVT who:
Experience with Avimark, IDEXX equipment, surgery, dentistry, urgent care, or advanced anesthesia is a plus, but not required. We're equally interested in the right LVT who is excited to continue developing those skills.
Ridgetop Animal Hospital has been part of the Silverdale community for more than 20 years and is proud to be AAHA-accredited. We're continuing to grow, invest in new technology, and expand what we can offer our patients and our team.
If you're an LVT looking for a hospital where you can use your license, expand your skills, and work alongside a collaborative team, we'd love to meet you.
