Job summary

Brady Veterinary Hospital is seeking an experienced, credentialed veterinary technician with leadership skills to guide support staff. The role includes technical tasks such as IV catheter placement, venipuncture, anesthesia induction and monitoring, dental prophylaxis and radiographs, in a growing AAHA-accredited practice.

The ideal candidate is licensed, team-oriented, and passionate about expanding clinical skills while delivering high-quality animal care in a tight-knit community.

Qualifications

• Licensed Veterinary Technician credential required.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Technical proficiency in anesthesia, IV catheters, venipuncture, radiographs.

Responsibilities

• Place IV catheters and perform venipuncture.
• Administer premedication and assist in anesthesia induction.
• Monitor anesthesia and patient status perioperatively.

Brady Veterinary Hospital is searching for an experienced, credentialed veterinary technician. Only 35 minutes from Lacey, the town of Montesano is a small, tight knit community. We started as a small mobile clinic and have grown with the community and have been proudly serving the safest city in Gray’s Harbor county for 20 years. We were voted Best Veterinary Clinic of Twin Harbors multiple times and are an AAHA accredited hospital. Our 2 doctors offer alternative medicine like acupuncture, chiropractic, laser therapy and herbal medicine to our ever-growing patient list.

• Experienced, Licensed Veterinary Technician
• Strong leader who has a passion to grow their skills and knowledge
• Interested in leading support staff
• Strong technical skills (to include placing IV catheters, venipuncture, administering premedication, anesthesia induction & monitoring, patient preparation, surgical nursing, and perioperative nursing care, dental prophylactics, radiographs, etc.)
