Qualifications

• Licensed Veterinary Technician in Kentucky required.
• Must be able to multi-task and develop positive relationships with clients and co-workers.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and perform physical duties as essential.

Responsibilities

• Check patient medical records, enter treatments and charges.
• Restrain animals for Veterinarian as required.
• Maintain client educational materials.
• Draw blood and perform testing procedures with care.
• Perform anesthesia induction and monitoring.
• Dispense medications and provide patient care instructions.
• Communicate with owners about medications and possible complications.
• Enter and reference patient information in the computer system.
• Conduct in-house lab tests and imaging as prescribed.
