Qualifications

• Must hold Licensed/Certified/Registered Veterinary Technician credential.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Demonstrated proficiency in client education, urgent care, anesthesia monitoring, venipuncture, laboratory procedures, radiology, and dentistry.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-stress environment; maintain accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to hospitalized patients, including IV placement, monitoring, and medication administration.
• Assist veterinarians during examinations, diagnostics, treatments, and surgeries.
• Perform lab diagnostics and document results.
• Operate radiology and ultrasound equipment with safety practices.
• Maintain controlled drug logs and handling procedures.
• Educate clients on preventative care and treatments.
• Keep treatment and surgical areas clean and sterile; manage inventory.
