Qualifications

• 3+ years of veterinary technician experience.
• Active and good-standing Licensed Veterinary Technician in Virginia.
• Proficiency in patient assessment, anesthesia, dental procedures, venipuncture, medications, laboratory testing, medical records, and client education.

Responsibilities

• Support efficient exam room, outpatient, surgical, and dental workflows.
• Perform anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery.
• Assist in surgery.
• Perform dental procedures, including prophylaxis and radiography.
• Maintain accurate medical records and treatment documentation.
• Review treatment plans and discharge instructions with clients clearly and compassionately.
• Identify patient concerns and support cross-hospital case management.
• Build strong client relationships through education and attentive service.
