Qualifications

3+ years of veterinary technician experience.
Active and good-standing Virginia Licensed Veterinary Technician.
Proficiency in anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery.
Dental prophylaxis and radiography proficiency.
Venipuncture and IV catheter placement; accurate drug calculations.
Accurate medical records documentation and client communication.
Ability to educate clients and build relationships.
Willingness to work in a fast-paced general practice with diverse cases.

Responsibilities

Supporting efficient exam room, outpatient, surgical, and dental workflows.
Performing anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery.
Assisting in surgery.
Performing dental procedures, including prophylaxis and radiography.
Maintaining accurate, detailed medical records and treatment documentation.
Reviewing treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions with clients clearly and compassionately.
Identifying patient concerns and supporting efficient case management across the hospital.
Building strong client relationships through education, communication, and attentive service.
