Qualifications

• Must hold a current veterinary technician license or be eligible for licensure.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and IV catheter placement.
• Ensure patient restraint and safe handling.
• Collect laboratory samples and run in-house diagnostics.
• Operate digital radiography equipment.
• Assist with anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery.
• Prepare for surgery and assist during procedures.
• Perform dentistry and dental radiography.
• Administer medications and provide patient care.
• Nurse hospitalized patients and manage treatments.
• Assist with pharmacy and prescription support.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
• Educate clients and communicate treatment plans.
• Support doctors during appointments and procedures.
• Help maintain efficient patient flow in a busy hospital.
