Job summary
VCA Feline Medical Center in Reno, NV is seeking an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician for a feline-exclusive hospital. Compensation ranges from $25.00 to $29.00 per hour, full-time with a Monday-Thursday schedule.
You will use your feline-focused expertise to deliver high-quality care, perform venipuncture, radiology, anesthesia monitoring, surgical prep, dentistry, lab work, and compassionate patient recovery. Join a team dedicated to excellent client experiences.
Qualifications
- Licensed Veterinary Technician with feline-focused expertise is required.
- Strong client communication and patient care skills (cats).
- Experience with venipuncture, catheters, anesthesia, and radiology is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and catheter placement.
- Assist in radiology and anesthesia monitoring.
- Provide surgical prep and assisting.
- Conduct dentistry, laboratory work, and pharmacy duties.
- Support patient recovery and hospitalized care with compassion.
