Best Friends Veterinary Hospital in Cookeville, TN, part of the Suveto network, seeks an experienced full-time Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to join our team. You will perform advanced medical and diagnostic procedures under a licensed veterinarian, ensuring high-quality care for pets and supportive client communication.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed veterinary technician in Tennessee.
• At least 3 years of clinical veterinary hospital experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam rooms and assist in appointments with doctors.
• Take history from clients and record observations in medical records.
• Educate clients on preventative healthcare and provide follow-up.
• Perform venipuncture, in-house lab tests, and coordinate outside lab work.
• Provide nursing care and monitor hospital patients as directed by veterinarians.
• Assist in induction and maintenance of anesthesia and surgery recovery.
