Job summary

Bush Veterinary Neurology Service (BVNS) in Springfield, VA is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our neurology team. This full-time role offers four 10-hour shifts, days only, with no nights or weekends.

The position pays $30/hour and up and includes a generous sign-on bonus, plus comprehensive benefits and opportunities to work with advanced imaging like MRI/CT. Training and leadership growth are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Have at least 2 years of LVT experience (CVT/RVT/LVT) preferred.
• Strong veterinary technical skills and ability to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to work 4 x 10 hour shifts, days only, no nights/weekends.
• Bonus: experience with EzyVet.

Responsibilities

• Venipuncture and IV catheter placement.
• Drug calculations and medication administration (including IV).
• Monitoring and documenting patient vitals and conditions.
• Providing high-quality medical and post-operative nursing care.

Schedule

Veterinary Technician Responsibilities

About BVNS

Bush Veterinary Neurology has four locations across 2 states!

Our clinics are operated by board certified neurologists that provide same‑day life‑saving neurosurgery and long‑term medical management. Our hospitals house state of the art equipment to provide advanced diagnostic testing including cerebrospinal fluid collection/analysis, computed tomography, electroencephalography, MRI and more!

Our neurologists perform both spinal and brain surgeries. Some of these surgeries include intervertebral disc surgery, brain tumor removal, foramen magnum decompression, ventricular shunt replacement and more!!

Veterinary technicians play an integral role in our hospital whether they are handling patient care, taking care of clients, running our diagnostic imaging equipment, or assisting doctors in surgery. You will fully utilize your skillset and continue to develop your knowledge for years to come!
