Job summary

VCA Champions Northwest Animal Hospital in Spring, TX is hiring a Licensed Veterinary Technician (full-time or part-time). You will support clinician teams, perform routine patient assessments, anesthesia monitoring, surgical prep, dentistry, radiology, lab work, venipuncture, catheter placement, and patient recovery, while delivering compassionate client service.

Qualifications

• CVT, RVT or LVT credential required or in process.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical examinations and patient assessment.
• Monitor anesthesia during procedures.
• Prep and assist in surgery.
• Perform dentistry procedures and radiology.
• Carry out laboratory work and venipuncture.
• Place catheters and manage patient recovery.
• Dispense medications as appropriate and coordinate pharmacy needs.
• Provide compassionate care to hospitalized animals.
