VCA Laurelhurst Animal Hospital in Portland, OR is seeking a full-time Certified Veterinary Technician to join our growing, AAHA-accredited hospital. We offer a fast-paced, paperless environment with wellness and preventive care, digital radiology, ultrasonography, surgery, dentistry, and hospitalization. Qualifications

  • Abilities in venipuncture, catheter placement, radiology, anesthesia monitoring, and patient assessment.
  • Experience in surgical prep, dentistry, and postoperative care.

Responsibilities

  • Assist DVM team in outpatient appointments.
  • Provide anesthesia monitoring and radiology support.
  • Perform venipuncture and catheter placements.

Job description

VCA Laurelhurst Animal Hospital is a growing and vibrant 7-doctor, AAHA accredited, small animal practice located in the Laurelhurst area of NE Portland.

We are adding a Certified Veterinary Technician to our team!

We have been serving the Laurelhurst community and surrounding area for many years. We are a fast-paced, modern, paperless hospital that provides wellness and preventative care, advanced nursing care, digital radiology, ultrasonography, surgery, dentistry, hospitalization, client education, and much more.

Compensation : $ 31 - $ 35 / hr
