We are seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our growing team at Animal Hospital of the Woodlands to help ensure we are providing great experiences for both our clients and patients. When you join our organization as a Veterinary Technician, you gain access to a peer network of over 5000 individuals, CE allowance, and Learning & Development programs to help you meet your career goals.

Position Skills:

• Professional client communication and education, obtaining medical histories and symptoms
• Laboratory procedures including but not limited to: hematology, cytology, urinalysis, microbiology, blood chemistry, and fecals
• Diagnostic imaging and implementing safety protocols for fellow staff members
• Nursing skills including: restraining patients, administering medications PO/IV/SUBQ/IM, applying and maintaining bandages, proficient IV catheter placement and venipuncture, surgery prep, anaesthesia monitoring
• Proficient in dental prophylaxis

Position Requirements:

• Veterinary Technician Certification or Licensure (CVT, RVT, LVT, or LVMT) or the ability to transfer credentials from state to state.
• Associate's degree in Veterinary Technology
