Foster Creek Veterinary Hospital is located in Richmond, Texas. Just less than 30 miles outside of Houston, Richmond has a rapidly growing population and a lot to offer its residents. We are a full-service animal hospital welcoming pet patients in need of routine medical, surgical, and dental care. We are looking for a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our expanding team at Foster Creek Veterinary Hospital. Position Skills:

• Professional client communication and education, obtaining medical histories and symptoms
• Laboratory procedures including hematology, cytology, urinalysis, microbiology, blood chemistry, and fecals
• Diagnostic imaging and implementing safety protocols for staff
• Nursing skills including restraining patients, administering medications PO/IV/SUBQ/IM, applying and maintaining bandages, proficient IV catheter placement and venipuncture, surgery prep, anesthesia monitoring
• Proficient in dental prophylaxis

Position Requirements:

• Veterinary Technician Certification or Licensure (CVT, RVT, LVT, or LVMT) or the ability to transfer credentials from state to state
• Associate's degree in Veterinary Technology
