Job summary

VCA Lakeside Animal Hospital in Reno, NV is seeking an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team. The role is full-time with a rotating schedule of four 10-hour shifts and hourly pay between $25.00 and $30.00. We offer professional growth, a supportive team, and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will work with a collaborative team to provide high-quality care, perform clinical duties, and support physicians and patients across multiple services.

Qualifications

• Must be a Licensed Veterinary Technician (CVT/RVT/LVT).
• Demonstrated experience as a veterinary technician.
• Ability to perform clinical tasks with accuracy and care.

Responsibilities

• Support doctor teams by performing exams and patient assessments.
• Monitor anesthesia during procedures and assist with surgeries.
• Carry out dentistry, radiology, and laboratory tasks as needed.
• Perform venipuncture and catheter placement.
• Manage medication preparation and patient recovery.
• Provide compassionate care for hospitalized animals.

Job description

VCA Lakeside Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team.

Location: Reno, NV

Pay: LVT: $25.00 -$30.00/hr.

This position is full-time. The schedule is a rotating four 10-hour shifts.
