Destination Pet in Bayside, NY is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to join our North Shore Animal Hospital location. You will practice at the top of your license, leading clinical care and supporting a high-quality veterinary team.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid New York Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) state license.
• Credentialed technicians are expected to lead clinical care and work at the top of their license.

Responsibilities

• Anesthesia & analgesia: IV catheterization, pain management, induction, monitoring, recovery.
• Dentistry: dental radiography, charting, periodontal therapy.
• Diagnostics: in-house lab analysis, radiography, sample collection.
• Nursing & triage: monitor patients, wound care, manage catheters/feeding tubes.
• Workflow leadership: lead tech appointments, team huddles, mentor assistants.
