Wright’s Corners Animal Care Center is hiring a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join a compassionate team of veterinary professionals. You’ll provide outstanding patient care, support during examinations and procedures, and maintain high nursing standards in a busy clinic.

This full-time role offers a comprehensive benefits package, a friendly work environment with no nights or on-call shifts, and rotating Saturday mornings to keep weekends mostly free.

Qualifications

• Current veterinary technician license required.

Responsibilities

• Triage patients and obtain histories, vitals, and assessments.
• Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and procedures.
• Provide nursing care from intake to discharge.
• Prepare and administer medications, vaccines, and treatments.
• Perform venipuncture, IV catheter placement, fluid therapy, and sampling.
• Obtain radiographs and maintain imaging standards.
• Run in-house lab tests (CBC, chemistry, urinalysis, cytology, fecal).
• Support surgical and dental procedures from prep to recovery.

What You’ll Do

• Triage patients and obtain thorough histories, vital signs, and patient assessments.

• Prepare and administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed.
• Perform venipuncture, IV catheter placement, fluid therapy, and sample collection.
• Obtain high‑quality radiographs while maintaining hospital imaging standards.
• Run in‑house laboratory testing, including CBC and chemistry panels, urinalysis, cytology, and fecal testing.
• Support surgical and dental procedures, including preparation, monitoring, recovery, and instrument care.
