Job summary

Western Veterinary Partners in Minnesota is seeking Licensed Veterinary Technicians (LVTs) to join our Minneapolis-area hospitals from Woodbury to Champlin. You’ll apply your LVT education in anesthesia, monitoring, dentistry, diagnostics, and nursing care.

We seek credentialed technicians who collaborate with veterinarians, participate in anesthesia and surgery cases, and contribute to treatment planning and client education.

Qualifications

  • Active, good-standing Minnesota LVT credential.
  • Passion for exceptional patient care and client service.

Responsibilities

  • Practice high-quality medicine alongside veterinarians.
  • Utilize LVT skills in anesthesia, monitoring, dentistry, diagnostics, and nursing care.
  • Perform dental procedures, monitor anesthetic cases, and support a diverse surgical caseload.
  • Think critically, take ownership of patients, and contribute to treatment planning and case management.
  • Mentor others and pursue ongoing education.

Across Our Minneapolis Area Hospitals, You'll Have Opportunities To:

  • Practice high-quality medicine alongside collaborative, supportive veterinarians.
  • Utilize your LVT skills in anesthesia, advanced patient monitoring, dentistry, diagnostics, and nursing care.
  • Perform dental procedures, monitor complex anesthetic cases, and support a diverse surgical caseload.

Compensation:

  • Licensed Veterinary Technician: $25 - $28/ hour
    • Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location, and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Full-Time Benefits Package*

  • $2,000 Sign-on Bonus for active, good-standing Minnesota LVTs.

What We're Looking For:

  • Active, good-standingLicensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) credential (or eligibility for Licensure) in the state of Minnesota.
  • Passion for providing exceptional patient care and client service.

Technical skills may include:

  • Anesthesia monitoring
  • Surgical assistance
  • Dental prophylaxis and dental radiography
  • Laboratory diagnostics
  • Digital radiography
  • Venipuncture and IV catheter placement
  • Exam room support and client education
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
  • Interest in practicing progressive, high-quality medicine.
  • Experience in general practice, surgery, or dentistry is welcomed, but we're excited to meet CVTs at every stage of their career.
