PetVet Care Centers' New Hope Animal Hospital – MN is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team. The role supports hospital operations and delivers dedicated veterinary care to our patients and clients, with emphasis on compassionate service and clinical excellence.

Responsibilities include patient examinations, nursing care, assisting in procedures, maintaining records, and communicating updates to pet owners.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older to apply.
• Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) is required.
• High school diploma or GED accepted.

Responsibilities

• Determine animal requirements by examinations, records review, and diagnostic testing.
• Care for patients by taking vital signs, administering meds and vaccines.
• Assist with examinations and operations by preparing supplies and restraining patients.
• Maintain medical records and documentation of conditions and changes.
• Communicate patient status to owners as directed by the veterinarian.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and humane environment; sterilize instruments.
• Assist with prescriptions and proper documentation of controlled drugs.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Manager or practice.
