Job summary

BluePearl Pet Hospital Lakewood/Tacoma, WA is hiring a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our Internal Medicine department.

We offer a pay range of $26–$43 per hour, with progression through Kahuna leveling. Schedule is 7:30am–5:30pm, Monday–Thursday. This role supports triage, advanced catheter placements, CPR initiation, ventilator case care, and mentorship within a collaborative team of technicians and assistants.

Responsibilities

• Triage and obtain patient history
• Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR
• Place IVC's and advanced catheters like Jugular catheters, Central Lines or PICC lines
• Monitor and care for Ventilator Cases
• Work alongside other skilled technicians and assistants in providing excellent, advanced medicine to your patients
• Have a passion for mentoring and training other co-workers.
