Bowser Automotive Inc. is seeking a Used Cars Service Technician to perform repairs, inspections, and maintenance on pre-owned vehicles brought to the dealership. The role requires staying current with inspection and emission licenses and following safety policies.

You will diagnose systems, perform maintenance from oil changes to HVAC, explain issues to customers, and assist the Service Manager and Advisors in workflow. A focus on quality service and compliant operations is essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Valid state inspection and emission license.
• Valid drivers' license with a good driving record.
• Ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Test vehicle parts and systems for correct operation.
• Identify mechanical problems using diagnostic equipment.
• Follow checklists to ensure all checks are conducted on each vehicle.
• Perform maintenance including oil changes, tune ups, transmissions, and tire rotations.
• Replace and/or repair worn parts.
• Assist Service Manager and Service Advisers in dealing with customers.
• Explain automotive problems to customers when necessary.
• Maintain all training mandated by the dealership.
• Abide by government regulations and Bowser safety policies.
• Other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
