Job summary

DDCues LLC in Newark, DE seeks licensed unarmed guards for part-time/per diem coverage at our client locations. You will deter theft, monitor premises, and report incidents promptly while avoiding physical contact.

Uniformed role with indoor assignments and strict adherence to post orders. Requirements include the State of Delaware Yellow Card (Unarmed Guard License), strong observation and surveillance skills, and comfort with report writing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high situational awareness.
• Maintain a professional presence inside the store acting as a crime deterrent.
• Adhere to DDCues Post Orders and General Instructions.
• Report incidents immediately as they occur, both to the client and DDCues Corporate Office.
• Security must maintain all certifications with the Delaware State Police and have certification cards on their person while on duty.
• Security will be professionally dressed in a tactical uniform identified as on-duty security.

COMPANY: DDCues LLC

LOCATION: Newark, DE

SALARY: $20/hour

HOURS: Friday and Saturday 19:00 – 1:00

JOB DESCRIPTION: This detail is designed to be a visual deterrent against theft, physical confrontation, and other offensive behavior. Security is to use their command presence and verbal instruction to deter theft and address patrons that are harassing other patrons, damaging equipment, or creating physical confrontation. Security WILL NOT make any form of physical contact with anyone unless they are protecting themselves or others from bodily harm. Security will always remain indoors and will not chase after or engage any patron that departs the property for physical confrontation, theft, equipment damage, or failure to pay for merchandise.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain high situational awareness
• Maintain a professional presence inside the store acting as a crime deterrent
• Adhere to DDCues Post Orders and General Instructions
• Report Incidents immediately as they occur, both to the client and DDCues Corporate Office
• Security must maintain all certifications with the Delaware State Police and must have certification card(s) on their person while on duty.
• Security will be professionally dressed in a tactical uniform that includes an easily recognizable Security shirt, jacket and/or hat that visually identifies them as the on-duty security to the client, staff, and the general public .
