You will operate chainsaws and cutting equipment, perform technical tree removals in residential and commercial settings, assess tree health and risk, and coordinate with ground staff while following OSHA safety standards on every site.

Qualifications

• Valid tree climbing certification or arborist license required.
• Proven experience in aerial tree climbing, pruning, and tree removal.
• Strong knowledge of safety standards and best practices.
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player with excellent communication skills.
• Valid driver's license preferred; ability to travel to job sites in and around Catonsville, MD.

Responsibilities

• Perform aerial tree climbing using proper rigging and rope techniques for pruning, trimming, and removal.
• Safely operate chainsaws and cutting equipment at height to remove dead, diseased, or hazardous limbs.
• Execute technical tree removals in tight or complex residential and commercial environments.
• Assess tree health, structure, and risk factors from the canopy and ground level.
• Operate and maintain climbing gear, rigging equipment, and hand tools in safe working condition.
• Work alongside ground crew to coordinate safe limb and debris removal.
• Follow safety standards and all applicable OSHA regulations on every job site.
