Essential Functions

• Apply psychotherapeutic techniques and interventions in the delivery of services to individuals and families for emotional and behavioral health disorders.
• Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop discharge plans.
• Conduct individual, group, or family therapy sessions as appropriate.
• Develop initial treatment plans based on assessments, coordinate additional services, and revise as needed.
• Maintain documentation of therapy services according to standards and revise as needed.
• Maintain an assigned caseload.
• Participate in treatment team meetings and collaborate with staff to facilitate services.
• Provide services in inpatient or outpatient settings.
• Provide case management, discharge planning, or after-care planning.
• Assist in staff education on behavior management or crisis intervention.
• Coordinate clinical, psychosocial, or educational activities with patients and families.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
• At least two years of experience as a therapist, with at least one year working with the specific population.
• State or national licensure required.
• CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training provided).
• First aid may be required depending on state or facility.

Schedule & Compensation

• Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
• Full-time, 40 hours/week.
• Hourly rate: $32.04 – $41.01.
