Acadia Healthcare is seeking a licensed therapist to diagnose and treat mental and emotional disorders. You will conduct individual, group, or family therapy, perform psychosocial assessments, and develop discharge plans as part of an integrated care team.

The role requires a Master’s degree in a therapeutic field, 4+ years of experience, and state or national licensure, with CPR and de-escalation training provided on hire. Equal employment opportunity is offered.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or other therapeutic field is required.
• Four or more years’ experience as a therapist with two or more years’ experience with the specific population of the facility is required.
• State or national licensure for professional therapy providers is required.
• CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).
• First aid may be required based on state or facility.

Responsabilités

• Apply psychotherapeutic techniques and interventions in the delivery of services to individuals and families for treating diagnosed emotional and mental disorders.
• Conduct individual, group or family therapy as appropriate for the treatment plan of the patient.
• Conduct a psychosocial assessment and develop an initial discharge plan.
• Provide initial treatment planning for patient based on assessment and coordinate additional services as needed.
• Maintain documentation of therapy services provided to each patient according to facility and professional standards.
