Job summary

Hill Crest Behavioral Health, a UHS facility in Birmingham, AL, seeks a Licensed Therapist to provide social services, individual/family/group therapy, and case management on acute and residential units. You will work under the Director of Social Services and participate in an 8-business-day orientation from 8a to 4p.

Required are a Master’s degree in Counseling/Mental Health and an Alabama ALC or LPC license; prior inpatient experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling/mental health field required.
• Current Alabama ALC or LPC license required.
• Ability to establish rapport with a multidisciplinary team and support patient recovery.

Responsibilities

• Provide social services and individual, family, and group therapy.
• Deliver case management on acute and residential units.
• Work under the Director of Social Services.
• Attend orientation as required (8 business days, 8a–4p).
