Job summary

Acadia Healthcare is seeking a licensed therapist to diagnose and treat mental and emotional disorders. You will deliver individual, group, or family therapy, conduct psychosocial assessments, and develop discharge plans within inpatient or outpatient settings.

Responsibilities include maintaining documentation, coordinating services, and collaborating with a treatment team to meet patient needs while upholding patient safety as a priority.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or other therapeutic field is required.
• Four or more years’ experience as a therapist with two or more years’ experience with the specific population of the facility is required.
• Licensed or nationally licensed as a professional therapy provider is required.

Responsibilities

• Apply psychotherapeutic techniques to individuals and families to treat diagnosed disorders.
• Conduct individual, group or family therapy as appropriate for treatment plans.
• Perform psychosocial assessments and develop initial discharge plans.
