Job summary

Hickory Treatment Centers in Indiana seeks a Therapist to provide individual, group, and family therapy. Under Clinical Director supervision, you will manage a caseload of clients with behavioral health and addiction issues, performing biopsychosocial assessments and discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree and Indiana licensure or eligibility.
• At least 2 years prior experience in a behavioral healthcare setting, with residential treatment experience preferred.
• Commitment to client, family, and referent satisfaction.
• Ability to maintain strict client confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Professional appearance, aptitude, and attitude.
• Impeccable ethics, integrity, and customer relations skills.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communications skills.
• Knowledge of MAT services or MAT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Responsibilities: contact assigned clients within 24 hours of admission and conduct weekly 1:1 encounters.
• Complete biopsychosocial, admission notes, SUD treatment plan, and ASAM criteria within 24 hours of admission.
• Complete weekly 1:1 notes and discharge planning updates for each client.
• Lead therapeutic groups and document notes in the EMR.
• Prepare discharge summaries and aftercare plans at discharge.
• Assess and document suicide risk appropriately.
