Freedom Behavioral of Monroe/West Monroe is seeking a therapist to work in our Inpatient and Outpatient Therapy Programs. The Licensed Therapist works as an integral part of our social services program which is necessary to meet the legal, organizational, medical staff and regulatory agency guidelines. The Licensed Therapist works with our therapy services, case management, education and discharge planning team for the patient's well-being. All duties are to be done in accordance with Joint Commission, Federal and State regulations, Allegiance and Freedom policies and procedures and Performance Improvement Standards.
Provides clinical supervision of individual, group and family session for patients as indicated in the supervisor notes. Participates as a member of the multi-disciplinary team and participates in chart reviews for quality assurance. Work with the clinical department including the following functions: discharge and after care planning, completion of discharge summaries, completion of clinical documentation and providing guidance to the clinical staff. Review psycho-social documentation, completion of outcome studies assessments and development clinical notes, Provides clinical counseling services; including group, individual and family services including communication in an age/disability/cultural sensitive milieu. Performs other duties and projects as assigned.
