Job summary

Americas Rehab Campuses in Tucson, AZ is seeking a licensed substance abuse therapist to serve adults in treatment. You will perform biopsychosocial assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide individual, group, and family therapy within a multidisciplinary team.

Duties include discharge and after-care planning; collaborating with psychiatric providers, nurses, and specialists; and supporting on-campus programs such as intake, detox, residential, sober living, IOP and PHP.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work or Substance Abuse.
• Experience with primary treatment of Substance Abuse.
• Active license with the Arizona State Board of Behavioral Health Examiners in good standing: LPC, LAC, LMSW, LCSW, LASAC or LISAC.
• CPR for Healthcare Providers, Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card, Handle with Care within 90 days of hire and negative TB test on hire and annually thereafter.
• Certification in EMDR, Somatic Experience, Trauma-Informed Treatment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide biopsychosocial assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide therapy services (individual, group, and family).
• Discharge and after-care planning activities.
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team with Psychiatric Providers, Nurses, Behavioral Health Technicians, and Specialty Providers.
