Provides comprehensive assessments to determine appropriate treatment, delivers evidence-based therapy, and ensures high-quality patient care in a residential or outpatient setting in accordance with clinical best practices and agency standards.
Primary Attributes
Possesses the equivalent of extensive formal training in Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling, including an understanding of the application of the theory and practices of the profession to the operations of the organization, usually in the form of a major in
Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling as part of a Master’s Degree (or other applicable extended training program).
Maintains current knowledge of standards of care and practices, typically acquired through continuing education.
Licensed Psychologist, LPC, or LICSW required.
A valid state-issued driver’s license is required in specific programs.
Prepares basic correspondence and simple reports in Microsoft Word. Uses Microsoft Excel to create tables and simple displays of information. Creates basic presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint. Demonstrates necessary proficiency with all electronic clinical systems, including EHR and scheduling systems, in use at the Company.
Displays basic organizational skills in order to self-prioritize and organize own work. Determines effective responses to situations encountered within established precedent. Able to effectively communicate opinions drawn from conclusions using inference and logic. Exercises tact and diplomacy in the resolution of mild conflicts or disagreements.
Work is performed in a public, customer-facing, high traffic environment. At times, work may involve working with disruptive or distressed individuals.
