Job summary

10x Recruitment partners with a behavioral health organization in Jacksonville, FL to recruit a Therapist dedicated to guiding clients through recovery. You will provide individual, group, and family counseling within a multidisciplinary team, focusing on assessment, treatment planning, and aftercare to support lasting change.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree and professional licensure (LCSW/LMHC or CAP preferred) with at least one year of direct clinical experience and familiarity

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or a Certified Addiction Professional (CAP) designation, preferred
• At least one year of experience working directly with patients in a therapist or counselor role, strongly preferred
• Background in behavioral health or chemical dependency, strongly preferred
• Working knowledge of the DSM-V, the disease concept of addiction, and DAP documentation
• Familiarity with Joint Commission and DCF requirements and HIPAA regulations
• Strong crisis-intervention, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
• Proficiency with EMR systems and Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized treatment and aftercare plans, incorporating input from family and support networks
• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions, including morning focus, community meetings, and psychoeducational lectures
• Provide patient and family education on addiction, recovery, and relapse prevention
• Perform crisis intervention, including de-escalation and management of high-risk situations
• Present patient cases to the multidisciplinary team and maintain current documentation
• Assume case management responsibilities and connect patients with community resources
• Maintain accurate, timely records in the EMR, meeting all program and documentation standards

The Role
