Job summary

Oak Plains Academy, a UHS company, seeks a dynamic Licensed Teacher to join our residential program serving adolescents with emotional and behavioral challenges. Residents receive individualized treatment plans and learn within a structured campus setting.

The teacher provides instruction to residents with learning disabilities and/or behavioral mental health challenges. This role requires a valid TN teaching license, background check, fingerprinting, and teamwork with a multidisciplinary staff.

Qualifications

• TN Teaching License required.
• Endorsement in Special Education within one year if licensed in other areas.
• Experience with children with learning disabilities and/or behavioral mental health concerns.
• Valid TN driver's license.
