Oak Plains Academy, situated within a comprehensive and highly structured residential treatment program, seeks a Licensed Teacher to provide instruction to residents with learning disabilities and behavioral health challenges.

Located on a 20-acre rural campus about 45 minutes from Nashville, TN, the role offers opportunities to contribute to individualized treatment plans within a supportive, nationwide network of professionals. A valid TN teaching license is required.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid TN Teaching License.
• If licensed in other areas of Education, to teach Special Education you must obtain an endorsement within one year of accepting the position.
• Have experience working with children with learning disabilities and/or behavioral mental health concerns.
• Valid TN driver’s license.
• This role requires a successful background check, fingerprinting and employment verification.
