GENERAL FUNCTION

The Licensed Target Store Manager leads a team to deliver an outstanding guest experience, achieving all set goals and commitments.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Ensure team members deliver excellent guest service by modeling and coaching store rules.
2. Help team understand the importance of guest readiness and store standards.
3. Manage store flow and ensure a positive environment for guests and team members.
4. Develop clear action plans for team development and hold team accountable.
5. Provide timely feedback and conduct performance reviews and coaching sessions.
6. Identify success factors and areas for improvement within the store.
7. Build professional relationships with optical doctors and the Target Host to enhance business performance.
8. Recruit top talent and maintain a pool of potential candidates.
9. Create and adjust work schedules based on business trends and traffic.
10. Manage payroll, personnel paperwork, and store inventory accurately.
11. Follow all operating policies, including merchandising, promotions, and sales transactions.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Opticianary License or ABO Certification as required by state law
• 3+ years in customer service or retail
• Critical thinking skills
• Experience in recruiting, talent development, selling, motivating, and influencing

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years management or supervisory experience
