Job summary

PEAK Technical Services Inc. is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Technician to inspect, test, repair, and maintain fire sprinkler systems in commercial/industrial settings in Massachusetts.

You will work closely with clients and regulators to ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and produce detailed service reports. The role requires MA Journeyman Sprinkler Fitter certification, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to travel to customer sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational fire protection training preferred.
• Massachusetts Journeyman Sprinkler Fitter certification required.
• NICET certification strongly preferred.
• Experience installing, maintaining, and repairing fire sprinkler systems in commercial/industrial settings.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills; valid driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, repair, and maintain wet, dry, and pre-action sprinkler systems per NFPA 25.
• Prepare reports documenting inspections, tests, deficiencies, and compliance issues.
• Test sprinkler components and inspect piping for corrosion or leaks; recommend repairs.
• Perform maintenance, replace damaged components, and adjust system settings.
• Respond to service calls; diagnose problems and implement solutions.
• Document service activities and coordinate with sales for estimates.
• Schedule work with clients and coordinate with service coordinators; ensure safety.
