Job summary

Roscoe Care Center in North Hollywood, CA is seeking a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to join our skilled nursing team. You’ll assess residents with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing needs and design personalized treatment plans to improve daily living and quality of life.

Qualifications

• California SLP license required.
• Minimum 2 years of healthcare experience; SNF experience preferred.
• Knowledge of speech-language pathology regulations and ethics.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficient in medical record-keeping and healthcare tech.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents' speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing abilities.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapy for articulation, language, cognition, and swallowing.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans accordingly.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for optimal resident outcomes.
• Educate residents and families on goals and home practice.
• Maintain accurate documentation and participate in meetings.
