Job summary

Sterling Therapy Providers is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to plan and conduct speech-language rehabilitation programs. The SLP guides residents through tasks to restore communication and swallowing skills, fostering independence and quality of life.

Requirements include a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA-certified program, plus state licensure and CCC eligibility. This full-time, on-site role offers a competitive hourly rate and benefits.

Qualifications

• Master’s level SLP degree from an ASHA-certified program.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state.
• Eligible for a CCC from ASHA.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents, set goals, implement the speech therapy plan and document care.
• Coordinate adaptive communication devices and train residents in use.
• Select activities suited to each resident's abilities and interests.
• Consult with rehab team to choose suitable therapy regimen.
• Instruct residents in skills for participation and monitor progress.
• Adapt programs to individual needs.
• Attend care and staff meetings and contribute to discussions.
• Conduct training for medical, nursing and other staff in therapy techniques.
• Supervise supportive personnel per standards.
• Maintain and report equipment needs and repairs.
• Ensure high-quality, compassionate care for residents and families.
