Job summary

Roscoe Care Center in North Hollywood, CA, is seeking a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to join our skilled nursing team. You will assess residents with communication and swallowing disorders and guide therapy to brighten days and sharpen skills.

Qualifications

• Requires CA SLP licensure and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents' speech and swallowing abilities using standard assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapy for articulation, language, cognitive-communication and swallowing disorders.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans as needed.

• Craft and rock personalized treatment plans based on assessments, resident goals, and doc's orders.
• Work your speech therapy magic with articulation, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing tricks.
• Keep tabs on resident progress and tweak treatment plans as needed.
• Team up with other cool cats in the interdisciplinary crew for optimal resident vibes.
• School residents and families on speech therapy goals, plans, and home play.
• Keep the speech therapy records shipshape.

• Stay in the loop on speech therapy trends and rules.

What You'll Need:

• A shiny Speech Language Pathologist license in the state of the job.
• At least 2 years of healthcare magic, SNF experience preferred.
