Job summary

Arrow Child & Family Ministries seeks a licensed Teacher to implement educational programs for assigned students under IEPs/PEPs. You will instruct small groups and manage classrooms to enhance academic achievement and social behavior.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and a valid teaching certificate, with preference for special education experience. On-site position with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and a valid State Department of Education Teaching Certificate in the area required by the assignment.
• Willingness to obtain the certificate within state timelines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe learning environment following Arrow Center policies.
• Provide direct group and individual instruction in ELA, math, science, social studies, and electives.
• Prepare unit plans for groups of ~9 students with tailored instruction.
• Record attendance, grades and behavioral logs accurately and timely.
• Prepare evaluations for IEP/PEP and recommend plan changes.
• Communicate with the Treatment Team and staff in writing and verbally.
• Contribute to a positive school culture and crisis intervention when needed.
• Report relevant situations to the Principal.
