Job summary
Neil Kelly Company Inc in Portland, OR is seeking a licensed Journey-Level Electrician to join our Solar Division. This role emphasizes electrical installations, code compliance, and interfacing with electrical inspectors to ensure safe, high-quality solar projects.
You will install residential and commercial solar PV systems, panel and service replacements, battery storage, and EV chargers; read single-line diagrams; supervise apprentices; complete required paperwork; and travel between job
Qualifications
- Oregon-licensed journey-level electrician.
- Experience with commercial and solar electrical systems.
- Knowledge of NEC/OESC codes and site plans.
- Reliable, punctual, and strong communicator.
Responsibilities
- Install, retrofit, and troubleshoot residential and commercial electrical systems including solar PV, batteries, EV chargers.
- Install wiring, circuits, disconnects, and meters per NEC/OESC.
- Supervise and train apprentices as required.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and inspections.
- Travel between job sites as needed.
