Job summary

Saber Healthcare Group is seeking a dedicated Social Services professional for a skilled nursing facility in Matthews, NC. You will support the Director and oversee the Social Services Department to address residents' emotional and social needs while adhering to federal and state regulations.

You possess a current Social Work license, experience in long-term care and behavioral health, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Possession of a current, unencumbered license to practice as a Social Work within the state in which you work, if required by state/federal regulations.
Must have experience in Long Term Care as well as behavioral health.
Experience working in healthcare, either social services, direct care or hospitality, is preferred.
Must be able to communicate in English and have the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

Assist the Director to ensure the medically related emotional and social needs of residents are met/maintained.
Plan, organize, implement, evaluate and direct the Social Services Department operations in accordance with standards and policies.
Follow health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintain established standards of practice.
