Quality Moments Behavioral Health is seeking a compassionate Senior Care Therapist to join our Clinical Team. You will provide high-quality behavioral health services to adults in community and long-term care settings.

You will assess clients, develop treatment plans, deliver evidence-based interventions, and coordinate case management to support aging adults in Akron and Canton and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or another equivalently licensed mental health professional.
• Passion for improving quality of life for aging adults.
• Maintains professional ethical standards; HIPAA confidentiality.
• Experienced with aging population or vulnerable groups.
• Willingness to travel within Akron/Canton and surrounding areas.

Qualifications and Responsibilities of Senior Care Therapist

• Must be 21 years of age
• Licensed Social Worker (LSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or another equivalently licensed mental health professional required.
• Passion for providing excellence-level support aimed atimproving the quality of life for aging adults.

• Maintains professional ethical standards and adheres to all confidentiality and privacy requirements, including HIPAA.

• Prior experiencewith individuals experiencing out of home placement, the aging population, or other vulnerable populations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, including documentation, presentation, and real-time problem solving.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation with current automobile insurance meeting state minimum liability requirements.
• Ability to travel within Akron / Canton and the surrounding areas to work with clients in the community.
