Job summary

Sandstone of Tucson is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to join our compassionate team. You will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders, and develop individualized therapy plans.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, monitor progress, educate patients and families, and maintain accurate documentation to ensure high-quality care in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Active AZ SLP license (or Compact) required.
• Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop individualized therapy plans tailored to each patient's needs.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on strategies to support communication and swallowing.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to clinical protocols.
• Promote a safe and supportive environment for patients and staff.
