Rochester Public Schools seeks a 1.0 FTE Licensed School Nurse for the 2026-2027 school year, serving Sunset Terrace and Bishop Elementarys. Mileage reimbursement is available for travel between sites.
The role requires MN PELSB licensure in the appropriate area and a MN RN license, with a Bachelor of Nursing and Public Health Nurse Certification preferred. The nurse will coordinate healthcare and health services to support student learning.

It is the responsibility of the individual in this role to apply the nursing process, encompassing assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to coordinate healthcare for both individual students and the student population. This includes providing training, delegation, monitoring, and supervision of healthcare services delivered by Health Services personnel such as unlicensed assistive personnel and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), as well as other school staff. The objective is to offer health services that enhance the educational process by addressing or eliminating health-related obstacles to learning for students.
