Job summary

Rochester Public Schools is seeking a 1.0 FTE Special Education Instructional Coach for the 2026-2027 school year. Positions are located at Sunset Terrace Elementary (0.4), Pinewood Elementary (0.3), District-Wide (0.2), and Longfellow Elementary (0.1). Traveling between sites is required and mileage reimbursement is available.

Salary is prorated based on hire date and licensure/experience. Applicants should hold or be pursuing Minnesota PELSB licensure in Special Education.

QUALIFICATIONS: Current Minnesota PELSB license in appropriate area preferred and/or required: Any Special Education License

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

Prior successful experience in urban, multicultural education desirable.

Demonstrates continued professional development through course work, research, peer collaboration, and/or job-embedded staff development.

Working knowledge of the subject matter, classroom management techniques, current researched best practices and strategies, as well as students' learning styles and needs, both academic and affective.
