Sport Clips Haircuts of Mt. Prospect is seeking a Salon Manager to lead a high-performing men’s and boys’ hair salon.

The role suits a licensed cosmetologist or barber who enjoys hair cutting, coaching teams, and managing salon operations to deliver a consistent, high-quality guest experience. You will oversee daily operations, support stylists, and cultivate a positive, team-focused culture while running the business with integrity.

Qualifications

• Active Illinois cosmetology or barber license is required.
• Previous salon management experience preferred.
• Passion for delivering exceptional haircuts and guest experience.
• Strong leadership, communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced salon setting and adapt schedules.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily salon operations including scheduling, inventory, and POS.
• Hire, coach, onboard stylists and foster teamwork and accountability.
• Oversee product ordering, inventory, and merchandising for profitability.
• Set service standards and provide hands-on guidance with haircuts.
• Ensure licensing, safety and company policies are followed.
