Job summary

STS Technical Services is hiring Licensed S-92 Helicopter Mechanics in Lafayette, Louisiana to support aircraft maintenance operations tied to lease return projects.

Candidates must hold a valid FAA A&P license and have hands-on maintenance and repair experience on S-92 or UH-60 aircraft. This role will perform maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on rotary-wing aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations and company standards.

Qualifications

• Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license required.
• Minimum of 2+ years of S-92 experience required.
• Candidates with UH-60 or VH-92 experience must have 4-5+ years of relevant experience.
• Inspection experience is highly preferred.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment requirements including background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform aircraft maintenance in support of lease return projects.
• Complete assigned task cards in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
• Conduct routine and non-routine inspections.
• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and repair rotary-wing aircraft systems.
• Remove and replace aircraft components as required.
• Perform general structural and mechanical repairs.
• Execute operational checks to ensure proper system functionality.
• Comply with all safety and quality standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned in support of maintenance operations.

Position Overview

The Licensed S-92 Helicopter Mechanic will perform maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on rotary-wing aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations and company standards. This role supports fast-paced, safety-critical aviation operations with a strong focus on quality and turnaround time.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform aircraft maintenance in support of lease return projects
• Complete assigned task cards in accordance with company and regulatory standards
• Conduct routine and non-routine inspections
• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and repair rotary-wing aircraft systems
