Job summary

Civil Science, Inc. seeks a licensed Civil Engineer to serve as Public Works Project Manager in Utah, Salt Lake City or Lehi. You will lead municipal infrastructure projects, manage scope, schedule, and budget, and mentor teams while expanding our Utah footprint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• PE license is required.
• 8+ years of experience in public works or municipal infrastructure projects.
• Experience with city, county, or DOT clients.
• Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, Bluebeam, and Civil 3D.
• Ability to travel throughout Utah and potentially neighboring states.
• Must be able to work on construction sites and sit for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary client contact for public works projects across Utah.
• Manage scope, schedule, and budget for multiple active municipal projects.
• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams.
• Deliver high-quality infrastructure projects for city, county, and state agencies.
• Support business development, including proposals and client relationship growth.
• Collaborate with leadership to expand backlog and market presence.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to team development.
• Ensure projects meet quality, risk, and compliance standards.
