Qualifications

• Florida PTA license is required and must be active.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a nursing home, skilled nursing facility, or rehabilitation setting preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to compassionate and quality resident care.

Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapists in providing safe, effective, and individualized therapy treatments.
• Follow established care plans, treatment protocols, and safety guidelines.
• Provide support during therapy sessions to help residents improve mobility, strength, balance, and function.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy services.
• Communicate effectively with the therapy team, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain a clean, organized therapy area and ensure equipment is properly maintained.
• Identify and report equipment concerns, safety hazards, or maintenance needs promptly.
• Follow infection control policies and proper PPE procedures.
